Carhartt Jacket Sizing Chart
Several Carhartt custom jackets are available, and you can get them in different sizes. Each size fits a different chest measurement. For instance, the small size (S) fits 34 to 36-inch chests, while the medium size (M) fits 38 to 40-inch chests. Other sizes are:
- Large (L): 42 to 44 inches
- Extra Large (XL): 46 to 48 inches
- 2XL: 50 to 52 inches
- 3XL: 54 to 56 inches
- 4XL: 58 to 60 inches
- 5XL: 62 to 64 inches
Carhartt has a different sizing chart for its tall jackets, such as the Carhartt Tall Duck Detroit Jacket. The sizes for such tall jackets are:
- Medium Tall (MT): 38 to 40 inches
- Large Tall (LT): 42 to 44 inches
- Extra-Large Tall (XLT): 46 to 48 inches
- 2XLT: 50 to 52 inches
- 3XLT: 54 to 56 inches
- 4XLT: 58 to 60 inches
You can identify your size by measuring the diameter of your chest with a measuring tape. Your arms should be down during the measurement, and the tape should be horizontal over the fullest part of your chest. If your chest measurement falls between sizes, go for the next size up. For example, if you are above 40 inches but under 42 inches, select a large-size jacket. Finding the ladies size requires measuring around the fullest part of your bust. You can get the most accurate measurement by measuring over your undergarments with your arms down.
